chosen for our own students (pre-school through
collegiate) at The Music Academies that deliver the
performance expected at a price level affordable to
any serious student. Having a good
instrument to play on increases their likelihood of
becoming a skilled player for life. Rental
of Student Level instruments is pre-paid for 12 months
with the option to purchase the instrument at the end
of the 12 month period for either $25 or $50,

ChinCello Outfit A truly portable cello, the ChinCello is no larger that a 16” viola, but produces true cello tones! It is played in “chin” position just like a violin or viola, which not only makes a strolling string quartet a reality, it also makes it possible to play cello in venues where there is simply not enough physical space for a standard size cello. Because of its smaller dimensions, it is also much more portable on planes, trains, and automobiles, and is particularly adaptable to alternative music venues (rock, country, etc.) by simply strapping on a pickup and plugging into the main board.
